I have the same problem... I want to get rid of the packages and, like the other user, I followed the manual and all is well setup, but not working (auto assign; price 0;....). I have the business version and I'm disappointed with all it's bugs...

Auto assign package work only on new users.

If it not configured, please open a support ticket.
