Issues with \'Add resume\' and \'Add cover letter\'

14 years 5 months ago #674 by Davide
Hi guys,

Thanks for the terrific app. While testing, I encountered the following bugs from the jobseeker control panel:

Add Resume (2 issues)
When clicking on the \'Add resume\' link the loaded page presents the 2 following notices:

On top of the contentpane:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/marketed/public_html/mstest/components/com_jsjobs/views/jobseeker/tmpl/formresume.php on line 52

The incriminated code from formresume.php is:
foreach($this->fieldsordering as $field){
switch ($field->field){
case \"section_addresses\" : $section_addresses = $field->published; break;
case \"section_sub_address\" : $section_sub_address = $field->published; break;
case \"section_sub_address1\" : $section_sub_address1 = $field->published; break;
case \"section_sub_address2\" : $section_sub_address2 = $field->published; break;
case \"section_education\" : $section_education = $field->published; break;
case \"section_sub_institute\" : $section_sub_institute = $field->published; break;
case \"section_sub_institute1\" : $section_sub_institute1 = $field->published; break;
case \"section_sub_institute2\" : $section_sub_institute2 = $field->published; break;
case \"section_sub_institute3\" : $section_sub_institute3 = $field->published; break;
case \"section_employer\" : $section_employer = $field->published; break;
case \"section_sub_employer\" : $section_sub_employer = $field->published; break;
case \"section_sub_employer1\" : $section_sub_employer1 = $field->published; break;
case \"section_sub_employer2\" : $section_sub_employer2 = $field->published; break;
case \"section_sub_employer3\" : $section_sub_employer3 = $field->published; break;
case \"section_skills\" : $section_skills = $field->published; break;
case \"section_resumeeditor\" : $section_resumeeditor = $field->published; break;
case \"section_references\" : $section_references = $field->published; break;
case \"section_sub_reference\" : $section_sub_reference = $field->published; break;
case \"section_sub_reference1\" : $section_sub_reference1 = $field->published; break;
case \"section_sub_reference2\" : $section_sub_reference2 = $field->published; break;
case \"section_sub_reference3\" : $section_sub_reference3 = $field->published; break;
}
}

On the bottom of the contentpane:
Can not add new resume. You are exceed to your resume limit. Contact administrator to increase your resume limit.

I increased all limits in the backend for both user roles but still get the notice.

Add Cover Letter
When clicking on the \'Add cover letter\' link, I get a blank page with the following error:
Fatal error: Class \'JHTMLBehavior\' not found in /home/marketed/public_html/mstest/components/com_jsjobs/views/jobseeker/tmpl/formcoverletter.php on line 24

Is there any quick coding fix for these errors?

Tnx,
Davide

I\'ll fix it in v1.0.5.3

v1.0.5.2

When are you planning to release v1.0.5.3?

I also found another bug which I haven\'t managed to fix myself yet. When an employer posts a position, JSJOBS shows it in the categories view, but when clicking on the category, JSJOBS does not show any entry and returns \'Couldn\'t find any matching results.\'

Linked to this error, an issue also comes out with the Latest job module v1.0.5. When clicking on one of the latest jobs link in the module, an error page loads with the following notice:

500 - View not found [name, type, prefix]: jobposting,html,jsjobsView

The address loaded is:
index.php/khe/brainstorming-live/index.php?option=com_jsjobs&c=jsjobs&view=jobposting&layout=viewjob&vj=2&jobcat=45&jobid=1
